Ingredients
1 lb. chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into thin strips
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 cup white rice, cooked
1 green onion, chopped, for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the chicken strips in a ziplock bag and pour half of the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken strips. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the white rice according to package instructions.
- Divide the cooked rice into bowls and top with the sticky chicken.
- Drizzle the remaining marinade from the skillet over the chicken rice bowls.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
