1 onion, diced

2 cups diced potatoes
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir well to combine.
- Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until slightly softened.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Pour this mixture over the beef and potato mixture in the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
